Payment information
Card and wallet payments are processed by our licensed payment service provider. We do not store full card numbers, expiry dates or CVV codes on our systems.

Information we receive from others
- Delivery status and proof-of-delivery information from our couriers and logistics partners.
- Aggregated campaign and audience data from advertising and analytics platforms where you interact with our ads.
- Payment confirmations, chargeback and fraud-screening results from our payment provider.
2. How we use your information
- To receive, confirm, prepare, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about timing, substitutions or access to your address.
- To weigh and price fresh cuts that are prepared to order, issue invoices, and process payments, refunds and returns.
- To manage your account, saved addresses, order history and reorder function.
- To respond to enquiries, complaints and quality reports, and to investigate food-safety issues.
- To improve our product range, recipes, packaging, cold-chain handling, delivery zones and route planning.
- To send you transactional messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email (order confirmation, driver dispatch, delivery updates). These are service messages and are not marketing.
- To send you offers, new product announcements and promotions, where you have chosen to receive them.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, promotion abuse, resale of our products, and misuse of our website.
- To keep the accounting, tax, traceability and food-safety records that Egyptian law requires us to keep.
The legal grounds we rely on
- Performance of the contract between us, so that we can fulfil the order you placed.
- Your consent, for marketing messages, non-essential cookies and precise device location. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our business, provided your rights are not overridden.
- Compliance with legal obligations, including tax, commercial and food-safety record keeping.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your session and cart working, remember your language and address, measure how the site is used, and — with your consent — to measure and personalise advertising.
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for login, cart, checkout and security. These cannot be switched off.
- Performance and analytics cookies: help us understand which products and pages perform well.
- Functionality cookies: remember preferences such as language, saved address and previous orders.
- Advertising cookies and pixels: used by platforms such as Meta and Google to show relevant ads and measure results.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
4. Who we share your information with
- Delivery riders, drivers and logistics partners, who receive your name, phone number, address and order contents so they can deliver to you.
- Payment gateways, banks and wallet providers, to process payments, refunds and chargebacks.
- SMS, WhatsApp Business, email and customer-support platform providers, so we can communicate with you.
- Hosting, cloud storage, IT maintenance, analytics and marketing service providers who act on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as auditors, accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Government bodies, regulators, food-safety authorities or courts, where we are legally required to disclose.
- A buyer or successor entity, if our business or part of it is sold, merged or reorganised.
We require every service provider to protect your data, to use it only for the purpose we specify, and never to use it for their own marketing. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Transfers outside Egypt
Some of our providers (for example cloud hosting, analytics or messaging platforms) store or process data on servers located outside Egypt. Where this happens, we transfer data only in line with Law No. 151 of 2020 — that is, to countries or providers offering an adequate level of protection, under contractual safeguards, or with your explicit consent where required.
6. How long we keep your data
- Order, invoice and accounting records: for the period required by Egyptian tax and commercial law, currently five years from the end of the relevant financial year.
- Account data: for as long as your account is active, and for [12] months after it becomes inactive or you ask us to close it.
- Marketing consents and unsubscribe records: until you withdraw consent, and afterwards only as proof that you unsubscribed.
- Customer service and complaint records: [24] months from the date the case is closed.
- Website analytics data: normally [26] months, in aggregated or pseudonymised form where possible.
When data is no longer needed we delete it securely or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.
7. How we protect your data
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access control on a need-to-know basis, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing handled by our provider, activity logging, regular backups, and confidentiality obligations for staff and partners.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify the competent authority and affected customers as required by Egyptian law.
8. Your rights
Under Law No. 151 of 2020 you have the right to:
- Be informed about the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Access your data and obtain a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated.
- Request deletion or anonymisation of your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Ask us to transfer your data to another controller, where technically feasible.
- Lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Centre.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [[email protected]] or call [phone number]. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within the period required by law. Exercising your rights is free of charge unless a request is clearly excessive or repetitive.
9. Marketing preferences
If you have opted in, we may send you offers, seasonal menus and product news by SMS, WhatsApp, email or push notification. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link or instruction in the message, from your account settings, or by contacting us. Even after you unsubscribe, we will still send you messages relating to orders you have placed.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
